Please make sure you do a complete check before the rooms as there is a lot of \\\"fine print\\\" to be taken care of. We had booked a family room hoping to get a kind of a suite ... There are only two of them and they are actually the corner-most rooms right on the road with 0 view of anything. The room itself is two rooms clubbed into one large hall with 4 beds. The bathroom is in a pathetic condition. Prices are on the higher side. Do have a look at their strange check out policy. They are maintaining the property to the best extent possible. From a location point of view they are very close to the Jetty, however that adds little value. Trip to Kalapather or Radha Nagar (which is where you will end up spending most of your time) are quite a distance. Food in their restaurant is average at best. One does not get the local feel of the cuisine. It is tempered for high end.The staff keeps smiling and are helpful to a great extent. There is always a rush for checking in or checking out.

The room was clean and bed linen and towels were good, but the bathroom was stinking. In spite of our having reserved the room months in advance, we were put to inconvenience. After the first day, we were requested to move to another room (inferior to the first one in terms of location) and the reason given was that the Bathroom water pressure was high and needed urgent fixing ! In fact the pressure was low. It was disingenuous on the part of front office employees who did that to favour another guest. Within an hour of our moving out, the room was allotted to someone who asked for a change of room!! Front office staff were not professional enough. I witnessed at least three angry guests arguing at the reception! All in all, the stay let a bad taste in my mouth.
